IndonesiaI can't express enough how much fun I had on the Bali tour with Backpacking Tours! Every day was perfectly planned with just the right mix of activities and free time. Our guide, Supry, knew all the coolest spots – from breathtaking temples hidden in the jungle to the most relaxing beaches. The accommodations were superb, and nothing beats the nightlife they introduced us to. This wasn't just a holiday; it was a series of unforgettable experiences!
ThailandI have just finished the Thailand tour and have to say it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had travelling.
Heart and S became more then tour guides, they are now my brothers from another mother! They have so much knowledge to give, are friendly, funny, kind and caring and absolute pranksters. They made sure everyone was included and went above and beyond to look after one of our group members that was sick. I hope one day to have them over in Australia so we can go fishing ?!
The experiences / day trips were spot on! Culture, history, nature, rural and urban the time was well spent. Lots of temples, great Thai food, beaches and beautiful scenery the whole way. The Wildlife park and the Elephants is something that will stay with me forever?
I’ve traveled alone and could have done all these activities solo... but it wouldn’t have been half as good as doing it with these guys. To have a group of over 20 people, from all over the world, with different personalities come together and become the closest of mates is amazing. I love each and all of my group members and will be friends with them for life!
This is my second trip with Backpacking Tours, I did Vietnam last March. I highly recommend them. Everything is professional.

ThailandI never expected to enjoy this tour as much as I did!! 21 strangers were thrown together for 21 days but left with countless memories. The tour includes such a great mix of true Thai culture, tourist attractions and life time experiences but also time to do your own thing. Our guides S and Tony were amazing... as long as you were having a good time they were having a good time and they were more than just tour guides, they were also our friends. Don’t even think about it, just book it now!!!
JapanJust finished the 17 day Japan trip with our tour guide Liam. He made the trip sooo special and we had a lot of laughs - I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I will for sure be booking another tour after this!
CambodiaJust returned from the 15 day tour of Cambodia. I had such an excellent time with such an amazing group of people. As a solo traveller I was apprehensive not knowing anyone but from the get go we were all introduced and I got to know everyone. The guides work tirelessly throughout the entire duration of the trip ensuring that everyone is happy, knows where to go, things to do etc, even on free time they are making recommendations and helping you where required, they really make the whole trip so smooth. The itinerary itself is so well planned, well communicated and gives you access to some of the most beautiful parts of the country.The accommodation and food recommendations are perfect, all hotel check ins went smoothly and hotels were of such a high quality and the same can be said for the restaurants we ate at and the activities we did. The team work so hard to make the trip work for the group to ensure everyone gets the best experience out of it & I will certainly be booking again on another tour with Backpacking Through I would like to thank our guides Jhony and Vanna, both full of an excellent knowledge of the country, the people, religion and history, no question was unanswered & always up for a party and drinking on the nights!
