Epic Backpacking Trips Worldwide!

Once again, thank you to Dam & Sam for making my first solo travel experience so amazing and giving me fabulous memories to last a lifetime.
The organisation, teamwork and knowledge delivered shows the passion these two have for their jobs, and it’s very refreshing.
There wasn’t one moment whereby I didn’t feel safe. In fact, I felt I was treated like a Royal! These two definitely go out their way to make sure you want for nothing.
The transport was plush, very clean and well driven by Sam. Fresh bottled water available everyday too, which is very much appreciated.
The hotels were all well selected, with a good variety serving good food. They were all clean, providing towels and many with tea and coffee making facilities. Perfect for what we needed.
The photo gift these two organised for each of us showing our highlights was a really lovely touch, something to take home and treasure.
If I had to pick a favourite part of the trip. The Royal palace of Kandy, Gems factory & Royal Botanical Garden was pretty high up there for me.
Dam’s knowledge is incredible and he delivers it very well, and had no hesitation in answering any questions we had about Sri Lanka.
I will absolutely be making sure everyone from my home town knows about Backpacking Tours and this Sri Lanka trip as I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.
Maybe see you both sometime in the future.

I joined the Sri Lanka Backpacking Tour in February 2023 and had an amazing time. We travelled the island for 14 days and saw all the highlights along the way. My personal favorites included snorkeling with turtles, climbing Sigiriya rock, seeing elephants on a safari, cooking with natives and going surfing. But to be fair, every day had a different highlight, so it‘s hard to pick… The organization of the trip was great: Our tour guide Dam and our driver Sam navigated us safely across the island and shared interesting facts. The accommodations were fine and the food was excellent. I am very grateful for all the experiences and can only recommend this tour!
